Labor, We Have Forsaken Thee

By diabolically anti-human data science-based design, gigapp workers lack health and safety training, are oblivious of operational risks and safety procedures, complete highly-dangerous dark-of-night deliveries, travel hours per-day without competent on-road driver support; and most critically, execute the tasks they’re served while absent morally and legally mandated safety procedures for operating a commercial vehicle. The focus necessary for driving, biking, scootering, walking, and even basic environmental awareness are all destroyed by constant streams of gigapp notifications and regularly required smartphone app interactions.
It’s blatantly, mindbendingly obvious that labor was and is today, set up for a never-ending and guaranteed global graveyard of mishaps, life-altering tragedies, bodily injuries, car crashes, harm to other persons and properties via societal externalities, and myriad mental health crisis stemming from labor’s now multi-year saga of #appslavery and #appgaslighting traumas. DoorDash Singularity is not a victimless crime; rather it’s an existential threat to humanity; posed right now, in our present moment. Could anyone even GUESS the epidemic of UNREPORTED gigapp workplace-related physical, lifting, overuse, and accident injuries?
The gig economy’s corporate organized crime cabal reminds me of industries which historically underreported and failed to report rape, labor-abuse, and racism. As long as the victims are powerless and even more importantly ANONYMOUS, UNEMPLOYED by definition, AND VOICELESS; then the corporate cabal’s crimes will go largely un-prosecuted. What about safety violations, the implications of unknown local peer-to-peer consumer package transport, labor law violations, wage theft, and excessive driving hours? Whose maniacal joke was this AI-gamblified gigapp hellscape we inhabit? Chant with me; “Lock them up!
If they had the chance right now, Uber, Lyft, Grubhub, and DoorDash would surely exclaim in unironic and unified unison, “WHAT WORKPLACE?! We have no field operations, no fleets of vehicles, and employ no drivers!”
This insane worldview is what the gig economy ghouls litigate and lobby for in over 27-Nations now to legislators, regulators, CEOs, ministers, and heads of state; all of whom have clearly forsaken labor, by the very virtue of the gig economy’s vile, vapid, and vampiric existence. The gig economy delivers nothing to, or for, humanity worth perpetuating. Rather, it’s the shameless choice of corporate-created craven consumption and gratuitous convenience, over public safety, labor, civil rights and human consciousness. Grab a big bundle of stakes to kill this evil, undead, blood-sucking gig economy; and then burn it with fire.🔥
